Good morning and happy Monday. As we start our dive into the month of February, we have just finished up our midyear MAP progress check. There are several other important standardized tests to take note of. Firstly, students will be conducting a writing benchmark assessment to assess the performance of the writing initiatives that have been launched this past year. This is an entire school assessment that will be tracked and collected to track writing performance at each grade level. The test itself should take no more than 2 in-class hours to complete. Secondly, Title III assessments for K-8 students will be conducted in the month of February. This assessment specifically targets students who come from dual language homes. This is done in order to see if students coming from these backgrounds require any additional support that will benefit the child at the classroom level.
